Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
We are committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your personal data openly, fairly and in accordance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or register your interest in the Primrose homes, how we use it, and the rights you have.
What personal data we collect
When you complete our "Register your interest" form, we collect:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your telephone number (optional)
When you simply browse the website, our hosting and security provider may also process limited technical information (such as your IP address) as needed to deliver the site securely and reliably. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How and why we use your data
We use the details you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and to keep you informed about the Primrose development, including full specifications, pricing, and viewing arrangements as they become available.
Our lawful basis for this is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below); withdrawing it will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we carried out beforehand.
Who handles your data on our behalf
To run the website and manage enquiries, we use a small number of trusted service providers who process data only on our instructions, as our processors:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, domain and security.
- Web3Forms: receives your form submission and forwards it to our inbox.
- Zoho: our email service, where your enquiry is received and stored (hosted in the European data centre).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Some of these providers may process data on servers outside Jersey and the European Economic Area; where that happens, appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.
How long we keep your data
We keep your enquiry details for as long as we are marketing the Primrose homes. Once the homes are sold, we securely delete your personal data. If you ask us to remove your details sooner, we will do so promptly.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your personal data;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
- ask us to transfer your data to another organisation;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please email enquiries@primrose-development.com. There is normally no charge, and we will respond within the timeframe set by law.
Keeping your data secure
Information you submit is transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we and our providers apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
Complaints
We hope to resolve any concern you have directly, so please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to Jersey's data protection regulator, the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (JOIC), at jerseyoic.org.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date above.
